All of the Spinetail Safari guides are holders of the Forest Creeks Professional Guide Certificate recognized by the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Birdlife International partner, Nature Kenya. All have also been involved in various research and monitoring surveys and programs conducted along the Kenyan Coast.

The first bird guide in Arabuko-Sokoke Forest. He is internationally known for his intimate knowledge of its birds, plants and other wildlife. He has been leading tours since 1983 and has led tours as far afield as Uganda and Tanzania. David is a member of the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest Organization.

Willy has been guiding since 1993 and specializes in birds, plants and animals. He has assisted on many surveys dealing with endangered species in the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest.

Albert Baya

Albert Baya

Albert has been guiding since 1996 and specializes in birds, animals and plants. He is one of the few people able to find the Sokoke Scops Owl at its daytime roost. He is also conversant in German.
